Kenya safaris are offered throughout the year, but the best wildlife-viewing periods are during the dry winter months of May through August and the warmer spring months of September and October. Since Kenya lies on the equator, daytime temperatures in many parts of the country are warm all year. The long rainy season lasts from April to June, while the short rainy season continues from October to December.
